Buying a new boat this summer and considering the optimax 150.
Looking for people you have been running a mercury Optimax 150 for there opinion about them. I have been told by a couple of people that they seem to be having trouble fowling plugs.

My optimax 200 fouled the first set. I understand that for the first ?? number of hours the computer runs extra oiling. Anyway, the second set went 400 hours before replaced on normal mtce...jfo

My 200 opti had 250 hrs. on it when I replaced the plugs. Still going Knock on wood!!!!!!!

I got a new 150 optimax in march it runs great and starts Fast .Im very satisfied with it .It runs 4mph faster than my old evinrude and gets better fuel milage . Run the optimax oil and the plugs will last.
