kitty fish

my family and i are coming to buggs this weekend and i would like to know if the cats are still between blue stone and the rivers. if not, where might be a good place to start. thanks in advance for any help. also, where could i find a few shad?

Re: kitty fish

I went last weekend on the advice of jfo around the railroad trussel in clarksville and had a blast with my daughter and nephew. We caught channel cats on cut shad and fresh shrimp. We fished just upstream from the trussel beside the power line tower on the bluestone side of the lake. We caught our shad in the Marina cove. Hope this helps.

Re: kitty fish

Fat Slab, Bluestone to the fork would be the best place to start but you will have alot of company this weekend. The Showdown is Sat. night. The fishing has been great the last few weeks. As far as shad, The best shad we have caught lately is up the river which can be tricky. The Marine cove or the rock wall across from SRSP would be a good start. Good luck ....Bluejay
