comming up this weekend with my 2 kids and they are 8 and 9 and they want to catch some bass and i dont know they lake good but what is the bass biteing and how deep thanks.

Everybody on the board here knows I'm about cats, not LM but I catch/return a right many LM when I'm getting bait so sometimes I get a reasonable handle on them. Yesterday I loaded up with 14inchers and the day before same but with a 5 pounder on top. All these fish were holding against the inside pilings of bridges. They were all in 8-15ft against the pilings on the side of the center of the channel thru the bridges. The places that had the most LM also had a good many infant bluegills. For the catmen, the same spots were void of shad, the shad were shallower on riprap. BC, good luck with the kids...jfo
