Thinking about going white perch fishing tonight when i get off work at about 10 pm. Does anyone know where i could maybe catch some from the bank. I am using fresh small cut shad. I usually catch some at Henderson Point but i was wondering if anyone knew of anymore different places.
I heard from an old-timer that right around the Island Creek Dam is a good spot. I don't know about bank fishing there, I have a boat and I've never put in there. If you check the map there's a road from townsville that'll take you right up to it, or go over to 15 and head toward Bobcats and you'll see the big brown sign.
