Looking for a few tips for catfish around the Northbend campground, we have a 17' polarkraft and 2 7 year old catfish hungry girls, (not momma) 2 years ago we were leaving the tailrace park on 5-22 and watched 30+ 20-30 lb cats being caught. thy got hooked
what can we hope for this year

I guess from VAB you'll be coming 58W. The road you turn left down to go to the dam, there is a convenience store on the corner that has bait and some tackle.
If you go further down 58 towards the bridges, there will be a big gas station area to your right, and there is a very good tackle shop there.
Perhaps some of the locals can give names. I just know where they are.
the best store is just before the dam,it is called drift wood on the right,they are catching some now on shad and chicken livers,are you going to be camping if so what site.
