Fishing Report and question about the spawn

Have fished hard the past two days with a friend from Illinois. Wednesday, put in at Ivy Hill and fished that general area. Caught 13 all together, mainly 1-2 lb bass (males), throwing plastics around the brush. Did not find many fish in the backs of pockets, more on the sides. Yesterday, fished Nutbush and caught 7 all together, but they were bigger fish. Caught the bigger ones on windy points with crankbaits and caught several in very skinny water with a lizard.

Now for the experts-I really thought we would see a huge migration of bass to the shallows with the full moon this week. They were everywhere before the major cold front we had a few weeks ago. Did they have time to spawn out than and we are dealing with postspawn ? I thought the weather turned them off. I haven't seen hardly any beds, or cruisers, or red tails.

Any thoughts would be appreciated
