Can any one tell me what type and color red fins the stripers hit at Kerr. Going next weekend to try it and some friends told me that the stripers hit this lure at Kerr but they aren't sure of color or the type of them. Any help would be appreciated.

I have had good luck with crome/black or chome/blue.

They're not very expensive, swing by Bobcat's and get you an assortment.

done best with chrome/black or blue back. i like the jointed if you are 'waking' it.

Ditto to the prior info. You can't beat those colors day in and day out. I use the 1000 series as a top water bait and the 900 series as a jerk bait.
