We are coming to Buggs Island on Friday to Fish for Crappie. Does anyone have any suggetions on where to fish?

4 -12 feet deep around brush is where I caught them last weekend. Any creek or cut will hold them. Some people think you have to fish Buffalo, bluestone, grassy, but when it gets crowded, I just find somewhere else with similar depth and cover and catch just as many.

Thanks RU. We fished all day Friday in the areas you suggested and caught 60 Crappie with 34 keepers.

Fished saturday, Fishdoc and I caught around 150. Most were in 15 to 20 ft of water fishing from 4 to 12 ft deep on bucktail jigs. Sunday morning was a different story with the front that moved in they sort of shut down. Sunday afternoon the bite got a little better. Monday was fair with me another friend catching a decent mess. Only had 22 keepers though 9 to 12 inches. Brush piles again in 15 to 20 ft of water fishing anywhere from 4 to 12 ft deep to catch the fish.
