We caught the biggest brim that I have ever seen and I was wondering what the record and citation size are. I do not know how much it weighed, but it was 10.5 inches long.
It probably weighed around a pound as an 11 inch one does. Record I don't know but Cliff Edwards who you see on unctv caught one 4 pounds.

I have known Buggsman for many years. It is true that he catches a lot fish. He fishes the same ponds that I do and he catches a lot of brim. Never seen him catch anything else, but he is good on those bluegills with cane and pole.
