does anyone know when the striper tournament @ Brookneal is?

May 4th, 5th, and 6th. Fee is $40 per person

registration accepted until 8pm Friday May 4th at Brookneal boat landing.

Tourney starts at 8pm Friday and ends 2pm Sunday.

There is also a catfish tourney at the same time entry fee is also $40.

what is brookneal?

Brookneal is a small town up the Staunton from Buggs. My son and I have fished the tournament for a few years now,only placed once but it is a well ran event and benefits the Dixie Youth league. You can fish bank or boat from Leesville Dam to where Difficult Creek meets the Staunton.
