As the previous post said stick with minnows and jigs for crappie. As in other fishing though you will have to find the preferred color. Also, on some days a small jig say a 1/32 will outperform say a 1/8 oz jig. If you want to catch some crappie try the trolling method or purchase some roadrunners and small rattletraps. Good luck.
