I am planning on going to Weldon this year. Are the stripers up at Weldon yet? I went last year and had a ball. If they are not there yet when do think they will be there?

They are there but just not the big ones yet. I dont think the large females will make a showing until after the season closes (april 30). Here is a link to the weldon fishing report site. Hope this helps

TRAP

ANy advice? Planning on puttin in at Scotland Neck this week. Never have always Weldon, anything I need to watch out for good or bad if I go north or south?

I think they are still slow right now. Hopefully we will get a better report tomorrow on the wildlife commisions web site. If anybody goes please give us an update. It will be greatly appreciated.
