Mr. Goldberg glad you had a good day catching the poor mans tarpon. They are a tremendous amount of fun to catch. I had two clients that caught at least 100 of them. They had some nice roes. We caught a lot on the gold shad spoon which trailed a crappie tube jig. Probably 50/ 50 on which bait they hit.
As with shad fishing we had a lot of short hits and fish seen flashing at the bait. Had several doubles on but only landed one. I am glad ya'll had a great day.
