Fished Bluestone on Friday from 11-4. Water really high and did more fishing than catching. Caught 4 crappie off of one brushpile in about 11ft of water as soon as I hit the lake. Then didnt catch a fish until around 2pm. Found a brush pile in a back of a pocket in about 7ft of water and pulled 14 nice ones off of it. The females were bulging at the sides ready to spawn. Havent been having any luck on the shallow areas that I was catching fish in last year...high water must have em using different places. Caught them on a 3" chartreuse w red glitter curly tail 1/8oz jig.
