I just spoke with a ranger out at Pomona Lake and found out that the water level at the Wigger area is over the road. He says that we might be able to drive in and use the area for day use, but camping is really not an option. They're letting water out, but more rain is expected. The ground is saturated and getting any kind of a trailer out would be next to impossible without getting stuck.
Looks like we're stranded for this weekend. And, of course, the forecast is looking really good. Maybe Melvern would be a good alternative??? We will be getting a refund, although that's not much of a help.
