Marie Cleveland, 84, of Stigler died Monday, 7 Jan 2002 in Whitefield. Funeral services were held in the Free Will Baptist Church, Stigler. Burial in Hoyt Cemetery was under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler. Mrs. Cleveland was born 25 Mar 1917 to Wallace W. & Eileen (Mannon) Swearingen in Whitefield. She was a retired County Commissioner. She is survived by one son, Billy Cleveland and wife, Joyce of Whitefield; one daughter in law, Hilma Sparks and husband, Bill of Whitefield; two sisters, Helen Richards of Pecos, TX, and Edith Terry of Paradise, CA; also three grandchildren, Valerie
Harris of Shawnee, Gerald Cleveland of Owasso and Christi Young of San Antonio, TX; six great grandchildren, Lindsey and Ryan Harris, Courtney and Kenny Cleveland and Marshall and Gerrett Young. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,
William; one son, Kenneth; one granddaughter, Pam Cleveland Argo; and two brothers, Arvel and Robert Swearingen.
