Express your opinions and feelings on the destruction and devastation and aftermath of hurricane Katrina and typhoon Talim. For such things have not only affected those in the regions of USA and China, but in many ways have affected everyone worldwide.
Hurricane Katrina has oft been accompanied by the term "wrath" among many news media reports. The Bible reveals in Romans 4:15 the root source of wrath is law: "law worketh wrath". In mentions of the "wrath of God", the God thereof many deceivers and deceived seems to be law: counterfeit of the original: grace.
Existence and occurance of a counterfeit, the contrary part, adversary (law worketh wrath) denotes an original (grace is sufficient). Yet only when there is no counterfeit does immortal + mortal become immortal only. Hence only when there is no law is there no sin imputed and no death (penalty for sin). For sin is only imputed when there is law: Rom 5:13; And the sting of sin (death) still occurs because law is not only the source of sin, but the strength of sin: 1Cor 15:56. And because many still give place to, authority to, law not only worketh wrath, but also infirmities, sin, and the deadly sting of sin.
Wrath only occurs when we give place to, and thereby authority to, the root source of wrath: law.
How interesting then, that the destruction, devastation, and resulting aftermath and suffering visited upon the world by Katrina's "wrath" occured after GWB II announced he was gonna take his American mandated "there will be sacrifice (slaughter)" and "rule of law (wrath thereof)" ... global.
God: "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice".
JC: "Lo, I come to do thy will, O God".
Paul: sacrifice: of the law, never pleased God.
Sadly the tsunami of Dec/04, witch killed hundreds of thousands did not awaken Americans to the source of such devasting merciless wrath, since they only seem to take notice when it happens directly to them, as it did in 9/11, and took notice as if they were the only people in the world that really mattered.
It is oxymoronic for God to be both merciful (grace) and wrathful (law); And if God be pure grace, such is void of law worketh wrath; just as pure mercy is void of sacrifice (slaughter), and pure peace is void of division (war). The God of all grace? All grace!
The Bible also reveals in 1Thessalonians 5:9 ... "God hath not appointed us unto wrath". Given such things are an "allegory" in Galatians 4:24; Perhaps we should connect our biblical dots to know God hath not appointed us unto law (worketh wrath), and that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God. Why then do we, any, give place to laws (ordinances), when Paul The Apostle (his witness unto all men) says of ordinances (laws): "touch not, taste not, handle not", and gives the reason: all perish with the using.
Brave-o to Americans having zealous resolve to keep on rebuilding after such disasters; But shame on such for ignoring the root cause of wrath. It is like unto many doctors who do not really want folk to be well, thereby keep treating the disease with costly pills having side effects rather than treating the patient suffering from the disease. Dis of dis-ease? Law!
