Re: HIS BLOOD

You will find a lot on Jesus blood by reading the book of Hebrews.

Re: HIS BLOOD

Al,

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Re: His Blood

I've previously noted your post to GodShew forum on the subject of "his blood". I've been waiting for others to post on the subject before making my post on the subject. None did until recently a brief post was made by Pam who suggested reading the book of Hebrews, since it talks a lot about blood. But Pam's post specifically refers to the blood of "Jesus", and the blood of "Christ" is also made mention of in places like 1Cor 10:16; Eph 2:13; Heb 9:14; 1Pet 1:19.

One thing to consider about blood shed is it says: "almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood is no remission (by law, without bloodshed no ransom is considered to have been paid)".

Law is very tricky, and wants a sacrifice: bloodshed, but then such law does not quite purge, nor remit, only "almost" does; so it wants more sacrifice: bloodshed, till all are dead. For law is a "ministration of death" (not a ministration of life).

By the law - must have bloodshed, else no remission; but by the law not all things are purged by blood shed, only almost all things. So sin and sin consciousness never really gets totally purged by the law and the bloodshed demanded thereof (law is notably the source and the strength of sin and sin consciousness which brings forth death to all as a sting). And paying a 'ransom' to law for "remission" of sins never really lets ya totally free of sin consciousness, the guilt trip thereof, the dead end thereof, so then why pay law any 'ransom' for "remission" at all if such is only as feeding the bloodthirsty trolls, who always want more blood.

The most recent draft into the USA military only really wants your name, address, and your body bag size. In other words all it really wants is more 'sacrifice', more 'bloodshed'... as if thousands of previous sacrifices are not yet enough... must have more sacrifice, more bloodshed... always more blood to be shed in such 'rule of law' and 'due process of law'.

The "almost", concerning bloodshed and remission by the law, suggests climbing a ladder to heaven which dead ends just short of entering, which is 'almost' there, but not quite there, not even with the better sacrifices and bloodshed thereof than the good old bloodshed of bulls and goats.

Let us consider the will of God which JC came (with grace and truth) to do: "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice", and did even before the cross.

Let us consider "that God" who was in "Christ" reconciling the world unto himself did not law impute sin to any of them; and thereby no bloodshed at all is required.

Let us consider the putting away of sins (and bloodshed thereof for remission of sins) by simply flushing law: source and strength of sin, especially since sin brings forth death.

...to be continued (more to come on the subject of "blood")

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
