Seek not justice of law, but mercy of grace

Three Wishes: Grace Mercy Peace.
(notably not Law Sacrifice War)

Thank God we are not under (Moses') law, but under grace, the pure sort which came by Jesus Christ. For all who died under Moses' law died "without mercy" (Hebrews). For there is no mercy in biblical law, which is "of Moses" and of his (law) God, not of JC nor his (grace us) God, of two Gods allegorically portrayed, and notably opposed about "them":
http://www.godshew.org/ShewBread6.htm#Gods

The law (and lie) was given by Moses,
But grace (and truth) came by Jesus Christ
John 1:17

He taketh away the first (lie),
that he may establish the second (truth)
Hebrews 10:9

God did NOT send His Son to condemn (law) the world. No, not this, but rather that: the world through him might be saved (saved from the dead end of grace + law = life + death)... John 3.

By grace we are (all) saved, but by grace + law all the folk in Jude 5 were saved + destroyed. Hence the moral of such things are an "allegory" (Gal 4:24) written "aforetime" for our "learning" (Rom 15:4) is "my grace is sufficient" (no law req'd).

To learn what law "was" see:

(it was a schoolmaster witch failed every student).

So seek not the justice of law, for by the curse of the law it's surely die for jay walking or spitting on the sidewalk. Rather seek the mercy of His Grace.

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen. (Revelation 22:21)

Re: Seek not justice of law, but mercy of grace

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

If ye must have justice, let it be the just us of the us-ward the Lord longsuffering unto so none perish. And in us-ward there is no "them" at all, eh.

What of "them" mirrorly "created" in "our image" (the reverse, opposite) for the sake of the God shew, them being Mr & Mrs 1st Adam: Gen 5 (in Adam all die)? After the sixth day, and prior to the seventh day (which is no place at all), the host of "them" (prepared for war) and their plural heavens get "finished" = utterly dissolved without a trace.
Genesis 2:1 (Selah, to get your head around it).

It's a them/us (created/made)imperfect/perfect "allegory" about them vs us (law vs grace); God (His grace) being one, of us, with us, for us, hath given "us" the victory, hath not appointed "us" unto wrath, etc. So the exhortation is to get "converted" from them to us, for bad things happen to "them" (1Th 5:3), but not to us (1Th 5:9).

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Grace unto you,and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus christ

It is amazing how when our hearts are established with grace only all our old anger, fear, resentments, and side wars, (two bad divorces for me), just vanish away as though they never were. Grace is Powerful!

Re: Seek not justice of law, but mercy of grace

Shawn,

Grace, and Mercy, and Peace unto you,
from God, our Father, and our Lord JC.

Indeed, when the heart is established "with grace", and not just "under grace", then old things "vanish away", and it becomes as if they never were. Grace is powerful.

Thank you for sharing that aspect of grace, how it purges; Yet not just as if a clean slate, but more like tossing the slate.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen.
