Allegoric father and mother of us all

Three Wishes: Grace Mercy Peace.

Of two (allegoric) alls in the (allegoric) Bible:
(i) them all (also allegorically they all)
(ii) "us all" (also allegorically "we all")
there is notably a father and mother of us all.

Romans 4:16 says Abraham is "the father of us all", so that the promise be sure, of faith, and by grace; For if not of faith (law is not of faith: Gal 3, and whatsoever is not of faith is sin: Rom 14), nor by grace (alone), then the promise (eternal life) is made void (by grace + law is as life + death = dead end). Elsewhere Paul notes the seed of (faithful) Abraham is Christ: the end of the law.

Galatians 4:26 says Jerusalem above, which is, and is free, is "the mother of us all"; And Paul also clarifies us all are notably not children (not as "children" in bondage with their allegoric mother, Jerusalem below: Agar = Mt Sinai = law).

In Galatians 4: 24 Paul leaves no doubt such things as two (different) sons of Abraham by two (different) mothers are an "allegory", and these are the two covenants (testaments) i) law (ii) grace.

Paul also clarifies we all are changed, from (blind) faith to (seeing) faith (Romans & Hebrews), and from (law) glory to (grace) glory (2Cor3), and from child to man kind (1Cor), by putting away law in order to establish grace:

so that the promise may be sure to all (not some only).

Furthermore, the first mother and son combo (law and result of law) shall not be heir with the last mother and son combo; denoting the heir, promise (eternal life) thereof, is not a mixture of law and grace, but pure grace only. Hence the singular script-u-are of twain and contrary scriptures(plural), saith "cast out the bondwoman and her son" (allegory: cast out the law and result of law: sin and death)... for such is life, the eternal sort (which has no death), which is by grace, the pure sort (which has no law).

The moral of such things are an "allegory" (Gal 4) "written aforetime for our learning" (Rom 15) is: "my grace is sufficient for thee" (no law req'd). And such a moral is allegorically confirmed in the end, which notably has no mention of law at all.

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

okay'seeing Faith'' gives us eternal LIFE.
have you done a teaching yet,on being resurected?
and what did PAUL mean, when he said=he had not yet attained???or arrived.??????

Re: Allegoric father and mother of us all

Hi Al,

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Good question, about Paul, and what did he mean (in Phil 3) about not having (yet) attained or apprehended those in Christ Jesus.

Many teach and preach from Phil 3 without realizing how allegoric Paul is, and that he oft cleverly shews both sides allegorically, being also a "faithful steward of the mysteries of God" before stating his point and conclusion. Any good mystery has lots of twists to it; Which is why(?) Paul notes "escape" from law worketh wrath, destruction thereof, involves "give more earnest heed" to what's been said in Heb 2.

For example, in Phil 3 Paul uses both "Christ Jesus" and "Jesus Christ". And in Phil 3 (as in 2Tim, and Titus), Paul notes our "Saviour" is "Jesus Christ" (not "Christ Jesus", the reverse: Destroyer, unless we see CJ as being "another law", and switch to JC our "Saviour" by "grace", truth thereof JC: Jn 1:17).

And when looking closer at Phil 3 (giving more earnest heed to what's been said), Paul notes the "end" of "them" suckered by life promised in "Christ Jesus" (via the second "law" of Rom 8:2) is "destruction" (dead end of law: sin and death, law being a ministration of condemnation and death). And notably their end is "destruction" because they mind "earthy" things: laws, instead of heavenly things: grace (as minding CJ instead of JC); and are thereby accounted as "enemies" whose "end" is "destruction" if their "law worketh wrath" and such law is a "ministration of death".

Paul himself speaks of being a "wretched" man via "another law" witch worked "all manner of concupiscence" in him (made him do what he would not do) in Rom 7, prior to mention of the second law in Rom 8:2; which speaks of life in "Christ Jesus", the reverse of "Jesus Christ"; His point being Christ Jesus vs Jesus Christ, are as law vs grace, which are as Destroyer vs Saviour, destruction vs salvation.

Those who have not yet done so should take a closer look at "Christ Jesus" vs "Jesus Christ" in the NT. For although both are mentioned, the NT both opens and closes with JC (not CJ), and so do all Pauline epistles; wherein Paul notes he is an apostle of "Jesus Christ", who is "Saviour", in contrast to the reverse being Destroyer... the overall point being awareness of which is witch of grace and law.

I've done two studies on CJ vs JC:
http://www.godshew.org/GodShew5.htm
http://www.godshew.org/ChristJesus.htm

It's also noted in Mt 22:38,39 that JC points out the "second" (law): "love thy neighbor as thyself" is "like the first" (law: sin and death) and "fulfills the law": a "ministration of condemnation" and a "mininstration of death": 2Cor 3.

So it reasons the second law of Rom 8:2 law law, notably about life in Christ Jesus, no more provides eternal life nor everlasting freedom from the first law, sin and death, dead end thereof, than a law of aerodynamics forever voids a law of gravity. It's temporal, and a snare; the point of such things are an "allegory", and a "mystery" to solve, being to become aware which is witch of JC: Saviour or CJ: Destroyer, as being grace or law. And the mixture of such contrary things like Saviour and Destroyer, Life and Death thereof, is an oxy-MORON whose "end" is "destruction" rather than salvation.

The overall point is awareness, understanding that "grace is sufficient" means no law req'd, since grace + law(added) is as life + death(added), witch is a dead end rather than a living end (of law).

What's common to:
-New Testament (Paul writes the majority of it),
-Pauline espistles (open and close with "JC"),
-Hebrews (a mini bible, also written by Paul),
-Revelation (revealing, also written by Paul),
-Holy Bible containing Old & New Testaments
is: they all end with "Grace with you all. Amen."

And for clarity the Bible and most of the above also end with the "grace" of "Jesus Christ" (not the law of Christ Jesus) with you all. And the "you all" thereof begins with "you" (knowing the truth, thereby being made free, beyond faith-ing and hope-ing you're right of left/right); "you" in which JC located "all" the KofG. So it matters, and to "all" the KofG, what "you" believe or say and do; as if it's the life or death of all the KofG, which is a matter of the grace or law (of JC or CJ). Selah.

The "grace" of our Lord "Jesus Christ" with "you all". Amen.
