Warfare vs Understanding

Three Wishes: Grace Mercy Peace.

Many are those engaged in both political and religious warfare promoted by both political and religious ministers, which evidently (from the evidence) does not produce peace nor victory over the last enemy: death. In fact, and a biblical fact, not even spiritual warfare produces peace. Rather it has made things worse, sow bad we need dyslexic glasses to make the world look right.

What's lacking is wisdom (from above), awareness, and understanding... understanding the strength of sin (the strong man to bind in order to spoil the hse of sin) is the law; And when sin is finished it brings forth death, the dead end of life + death = dead end.

Peace is not accomplished by fighting, for fighting even the "good" fight of (blind) faith is only the least part of good, better, best; And the eye for an eye of blind faith (of blind vs seeing faiths) only results in blinding the whole world to what's best for all: no law = no sin = no death (for law is the strength of sin and the sting of sin is death: 1Cor 15:56)... no law, no dead end (Rev 22:21):

So, the song "I fought the law and the law won" has a message, even a biblical message, for us all. It is far better, even best for all, to give law no place (as JC did in Mt 24:21) than to fight the injustice of it or feed it any sacrifice; for fighting such enmity only gives strength to sin, which has a deadly sting. As in the Merlin movie ending, it's better to ignore it, forget it, give it no place nor authority... hence no strength to sin, no sin consciousness, and thereby no sting of sin: death.

Solomon the wise guy doesn't say with all thy getting get warfare, but rather "with all thy getting get understanding" (Prov 4:7). Understanding (awareness, enlightenment) is far better than warfare any day; just as the greater of two lights is what rules the day, the day(light) of God(love).

Let's leave "great" of great, greater, greatest... move on to "greater" things which lead us all to love ("greatest") of three things... love perfected, which speaks of no fear. For as it's allegorically written, nobody gets from great to greatest without going through greater (of great => greater => greatest); And a greater is here (that JC is come), to shew us the way to greatest is not warfare, not even spiritual warfare, but rather understanding. For when it comes to understanding, the exhortation is get it.

Until we all get it: understanding, we're all groundead... for "there is no respect of persons with God", and "a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump".

Fear what? The enemy? What enemy? When we give law (enmity) no place, there is no enmity. Rather let us do as Christ: the end of the law, and abolish the enmity.

If it's crap, flush it (law, sin, and death).

For as Paul, The Apostle, said: law is "dung"; And as Solomon aptly said: all (grace + law) is vanity and vexation (frustration) of Spirit (grace). For just as law is not law if grace and mercy thereof applied, so also grace is no more grace if any law worketh wrath is addead to "grace is sufficient".

Re: Warfare vs Understanding

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

As an example of what not to do vs what to do, I once had the plague flu, and the more I resisted it, fought it with man made things, the more strength it had over me, and kept coming back with a vengenace.

So, I decided to practice what I preach and do nothing, just rest, and the flu simply vanished.

I can't stress enough the message in the Merlin movie ending: "from such turn away", give it(law: evil concupiscence) no place; for good + evil (grace + law)ends badly, and for all if any go there.

If warfare produced peace, we'd all be living in peace long ago, for we've had decades, centruies, and millenniums of warfare to no avail... no peace as yet.

Peace is not produced by warfare, but rather is the absence of warfare, just as grace (pure grace) is the absence of law and perfected love is the absence of fear.

He is our peace, who abolished the enmity from his flesh: Eph 2 (we are his flesh: Eph 5)... it's an allegory (Gal 4:24), and written aforetime for our learning (Rom 15:4).

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

The prayer, of Paul "The" Apostle, for all the saints, is not increased warfare, but rather an increase in wisdom, knowledge, revelation... so the eyes of your "understanding" may be enlightened about us-ward being the direction to go and what the Lord (now "that" Spirit of this/that) is longsuffering unto... so none perish instead of all perish (from willing ignorance: "converted" Peter): Ephesians 1.

Paul is not just an apostle, but "the" apostle in all the titles of his epistles. And when it comes to an apostle, he's an apostle of "JC" (not CJ), and by the will of God: "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice". He's writer of more NT writings than all (six) other NT writers combined. He's "his witness unto all men", and also "his angel" who plays the last trump it:

Re: Warfare vs Understanding

There are literally many active wars ongoing around the world (and so long after he "is" our peace): in Iraq, in Afghanastan, in Chechney, in Ireland (Propestants vs Catholics), etc. There are also economic wars ongoing, wars over oil, wars over water, spousal wars, political wars, religious wars, etc. The most talked about is Iraq, which has proven peace isn't produced by warfare, nor by more law; for law is the strength of sin, and sin not only condemns all whenever imputed by law, but also has a deadly sting to all, the end of such grace + law being life + death = a dead end... for all since there is no respect of persons with God and a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

The Bible is crystal clear law imputes sin (Rom 5:13); law worketh wrath (Rom 4:15); and law is the strength of sin which brings forth death (1Cor 15:56; James 1:15). Law is also a ministration of condemnation and a ministration of death (2Cor 3). What law calls for is sacrifice, but feeding it sacrifice does not quench the bottomless pit appetite of beastial law for more war, more vengeance, more dis-ease, and more death.

Hebrews 10 is crystal clear that sacrifice (which is of the law) does not put an end to sin consciousness; only abolition of law does, since law imputes sin, and is the strength of sin.

Hence God, "that God" of this/that Gods (law/grace), "the only wise God" of foolish/wise Gods (law/grace), "the only true God" of false/true Gods (law/grace), "the God of all grace", "the living God" of the living, said: "I will have mercy(grace), and not sacrifice (law)". Such is not something new, but the same in both old and new testaments: Ps 40; Hos 6; Mt 9; Mt 12; Heb 10; etc.

To wit, "that God" was in "Christ" (the end of the law) reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them... (2Cor 5:19).

It's an allegory, and God given victory is "through" Jesus => Christ (through the cross, not getting hung up on the cross), and the Christ thereof is the end of the law.

It's elementary dear watson:
(grace + law) - law = grace = merciful, peaceful
(life + death) - death = life (the eternal sort)

God did not send His Son to condemn(law) the world, but rather that the world through him might be saved from such condemnation and death of law.

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
