In 2Corinthians 3, which compares two glories of law/grace, the grace-us glory being so exceedingly much more glory us law glory fades to nothing at all in comparison... kinda like the moon and stars fade to nothing at the coming of the sun...
In 2Cor 3, which flat out states law is a ministration of condemnation and death to be done away, we find mention of letter vs spirit, and clarity the letter (law) killeth, but the spirit (grace) giveth life.
In Revelation 19 we also find clarity about JC, that "the testimony" (which speaks of giving evidence to make something evident) of Jesus Christ is the "spirit" of prophecy (not the letter of prophecy).
With respect to prophecy we have letter vs spirit, law vs grace, and the testimony of JC being the "spirit" of prophecy which giveth life... in comparison and contrast to the letter of prophecy sow many proclaim, witch produces death (not life).
Re: Letter vs Spirit of "prophecy"; "prophecies" shall fail
The letter (of prophecy) killeth
(allegory: law's a ministration of death)
(1Cor 15:56; 2Cor 3:7; Heb 7:23; James 1:15)
The spirit (of prophecy) giveth life
(allegory: His grace the life giver of law/grace)
Life taker (under taker): law
Life giver (freely given): grace
The law(lie) was given by Moses
grace(truth thereof) came by Jesus Christ...Jn 1:17
Let law by the "dead" testator of the NT,
so His grace may be of "force" to y'all...Heb 9

He "taketh away" the first,
that he may "establish" the second (Heb 10:9)

As for "prophecies"(plural: grace + law),
they shall fail (1Cor 13)... eg: Jonah
