Genesis, Chapter 3;
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Harvesting the “fruit of knowledge of good and evil” was not a problem.
Eating the fruit was not a problem.
Being naked was not a problem.
Seeing naked was not a problem.
Having an opinion of their appearance was the problem.
Humans never were and never will be naturally ashamed of being naked!!! Could it be, all that is good and all that is bad, is simply an opinion??
The man and woman learned through experience, they could avoid forming an opinion of their appearance, by simply hiding evil (naked) behind a fig leaf. Hiding the source of EVIL with a fig leaf was GOOD but the fig leaf is not! The source of evil still lurked beneath the fig leaf. Obviously, hiding evil is good??
