Re: Save & Delete

Galatians 5:17 allegorizes this:
these (grace/law) are "contrary" things.

Contrary things, if "mingled", make an oxy-moron. So
Christ refused "mingled" drink: Mt 27:34; Mk 15:23.

Gen 2:16 = every tree, "freely" = grace... Save.
Gen 2:17 = not every tree, "die" = law... Delete.

If mingle every tree (grace) + not every tree (law)
the result of such grace + law makes an oxy-moron.

To obey law is to dis-obey grace is be a dis-grace

Contrary things, if mingled can make for confusion.
Save grace stuff, Delete law stuff results in peace.

1Corinthians 14:33 clarifies this:
God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace.

1Corinthians 2:12 clarifies this:
only the things "of God" are "freely" given

So Christ deleted the law, thereby making peace.

Re: Save & Delete

John 1:17 contrasts law & grace as lie & truth
- the law (die lie) was given by Moses, [but]
- grace and truth came by Jesus Christ

Applying this contrast to Gen 2:16 & 2:17
- Gen 2:16 = grace & truth came by JC... Save.
- Gen 2:17 = law & lie given by Moses... Delete.

God (Grace) can't lie (law) is why God can't die

Galatians 1:6 & 6:2 talks about these as:
- "the grace of Christ" is what "you" called into
- "the law of Christ" is what "ye" (do err) can do
Gal 1:6 Galatians got removed from grace of Christ
Gal 5:4 going to law is as ye are fallen from grace

Applying this info to Gen 2:16 & 2:17
- Gen 2:16 is as the grace of Christ... Save.
- Gen 2:17 is as the law of Christ... Delete.
