So you have discovered some of the allegory.
(which things are an allegory: Gal 4:22-26)
Eg: If it calls Love thy neighbour
the second law of Matthew 22:36-40's law law;
And Paul calls it "another law" in Romans 7,
where he notes even this law is unto "death",
for the first law in Rom 8:2 sin and death,
and the second law is like the first law;
And if the wages of sin is death: Rom 6:23,
and if the sting of sin is death: 1Cor 15:55,
and the strength of sin is the law: 1Cor 15:56;
Then law is the ministration of death: 2Cor 3:7.
So, as you allegory and mystery reasoned it,
lake of fire = second death = the second law.
So we should put away Love thy neighbour = law,
if told the second law is like the first = death;
After it 1st torments people with concupiscence,
which can even turn a priest into a pedophile.

Grace(not law) to you, and peace(not confusion),
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
In duality (twain) mode there's two of everything to sort out, even two deaths and two kinds of immortality. For even when spirit of soul/spirit contrast there's still two kinds of spirit to compare: spirit of truth and spirit of error.
To avoid getting duped, even when spiritual of natural first/spiritual afterward, we choose the second of two Comforters in John 14-16:
- Comforter1: the Holy Ghost: John 14:26
- Comforter2: Spirit of truth*: John 15:26
*Only he guides you into all truth: John 16:13
On the subject of death, notably a grave subject, our goal is lay hold on eternal life having no death at all. To do that we put away the surely die lie. Then we don't get seduced into choosing between two deaths in Revelation. As Christ did, we die TO the law so we don't die BY the law.
Ultimately all talk of decease should cease to have true peace.
On the subject of resurrection, also a grave subject, notice Hebrews 6 talks of leaving resurrection of the dead to go on unto perfection has no dead to resurrect. For Mark 12:27 clarified he is not God of the dead, but God of the living.
