Re: Was Paul always charitable? (see 1Cor 13)

Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,

Perhaps it is because we have not created ourselves.

This is not a democracy but rather a monarchy, even one with a sovereign "king."

Thus, Sovereignty appears to be the issue at here.

Therefore, if God is the Potterr, and if everything else is the Potter's clay, then it follows that the Potter has the right to do anything whatsoever with His clay consistent with Himself.

The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Re: Was Paul always charitable? (see 1Cor 13)

Marshall,

Grace, and Mercy, and Peace to you,
from God, and our Father, and our Lord JC.

Regarding Paul, and writings of Paul, I found him and the grouping of his 14 epistles (Romans...Hebrews) to be both revealing and concealing; As if on the one hand he reveals a mystery, and yet on the other hand he cleverly conceals some aspects of mystery in plain sight. For among Paul's titles, aspects, one seems to be he's a 'steward' of the 'mysteries'. So in his clever allegorical writings Paul seems to both reveal and conceal, as if to 'portion meat in due season' and also keep the mystery aspect a mystery until the end. For every good mystery has lots of twists right up to the very end. So I made a web page about 'Stewards of the mysteries of God: Paul as Steward':

http://sabelle.com/godshew/Steward.htm

Regarding Romans, I noticed it has seven "Amen"s; So it's allegorically like a seven course meal being served to both Jew and Gentile by Paul, who is both a Jew and also a Roman citizen by birth. So I made a web page about Romans being allegorically like a seven course meal:

http://www.godshew.org/Romans.html

The portion of meat you mention: Romans 9:19 seems to be sandwiched between the 2nd and 3rd "Amen", which is from Romans 9:6 - 11:36. Therein Paul both notes differences between Jew and Gentile (Rom 9:30-32), but also says there is no difference (Rom 10:12). For in Romans 3:9-12 Paul previously noted the law concluded all under sin, so none righteous by the law, whether Jew or Gentile. For in Romans 2:11 Paul clarified "there is no respect of persons with God", aka no partiality. So then, whatever applies to any also applies to all. So if we apply law, then it's all sinners, none righteous (for law criminalizes everyone); And/Or if we apply grace, then it's sinners none, all righteous (grace decriminalizes everyone). So I made a web page about partiality (respect of persons) not being good, nor being of God; Which is a constant theme in both OT and NT:

http://sabelle.com/godshew/Partiality.html

Regarding the God who does what he damn well pleases, aka creating some vessels to dishonour (fit for destruction) and some to honour (fit for salvation), this is the plural God which Paul calls the "Majesty on high" in Hebrews. In Hebrews 1 this plural God on high both spake/spoke differently unto them/us in time past/last days by prophets/Son. Even though what's spoke to us by Son in last days is called the "better" of twain (aka mediator of a "better covenant" in "better testament") it's not yet best of good better best; And it's only better for some, not all, so it's like having partiality, which the higher God (God is one) doesn't have. So in Romans 11:20 Paul first mentions "be not highminded", which is like saying don't even get high on Jesus, whose division isn't peace divides goats/sheep and has partiality to sheep. So I made a web page about highmindedness (aka puffed up instead of edified) is what not to be:

http://sabelle.com/godshew/Highminded.html

Regarding what gets "formed" (Genesis 2:7,8), there is also a time of "re-formation" (Hebrews 9:10); Allegorically like what's first "born" has to get "born again" just to "see" that "the kingdom of God is within you" of ye/you. Also "enter" of see/enter (in John 3) is even yet a higher matter than just "see". So I made a web page about the seven aspects that are clarified about being "born again"... "not of corruptible seed (law), but of incorruptible (grace)":

http://sabelle.com/godshew/BornAgain.html

Regarding the mirror thing you mention, the mirror seems to do a reversal of left/right, aka the 'image' in a mirror reversing what's right (our likeness) to left (our image); Kinda like how Hebrew is backward read from right to left tends to do. I noticed some things in Bible verses tend to allegorically get mirrorly reversed. Eg: "life eternal" is not "eternal life", and "Christ Jesus" is not "Jesus Christ", and "will I" is not "I will", etc. So eventually time itself got split into BC/AD which are accounted as backward/forward times. So OT time is accounted backward, from 1BC to 4004BC; And NT time is accounted forward, from AD1 onward to now, which is AD2013. Even the ordering differs: 1BC isn't AD1; aka Before isn't After, Law isn't Grace. Only going forward also grows upward. So we ought to notice the difference and go forward "through Jesus Christ" to "eternal life", rather than backward "through Christ Jesus" to "life eternal". Romans does mention "Christ Jesus" 6 times, but mentions "Jesus Christ" 27 times; And mentions "through Jesus Christ" 6 times. For later on in 1Cor 3:11 Paul clarifies the only "foundation" laid to build the house of God upon is "Jesus Christ"; And although his epistles mention both, he always clarifies he's an apostle of "Jesus Christ" writing to "Christ Jesus" folk who seem to get things mirrorly reversed. So I made a web page about "Christ Jesus" isn't "Jesus Christ", but as if mirrorly reversed:

http://sabelle.com/godshew/ChristJesus.htm

For example, when looking in mirror, if you raise your right hand the image raises the left hand. So the only way to end such an endless mirror battle is to "from such turn away" (2Timothy 3:5). Then the image, which reverses things, does this: "vanish away". But if we go back to the mirror, there it is again, kinda like the beast which was, and is not, yet is. So we should stop thinking in terms of left/right duality of plural God & Son, which is a constant them/us sides war where even what's right of left/right is still division, not peace, and still part-iality, not perfect-ion. So in 1Corinthians 13, which you mentioned, Paul says when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part (both sides of left/right part-iality) is done away: 1Cor 13:10.

I wish politicians would take note of this; For of two parts: their part vs your part (1Peter 4:14), neither is yet whole, even though one of twain parts is allowed to sit right of left/right after getting a majority of votes or seats in an election. Such is like children vs children sitting across from each other and constantly feuding; Neither being man-kind, both being childish. So in 1Cor 13:11 Paul notes when he became a man he put away childish things, like having partiality and sides wars, like children vs children do, as if children of the flesh vs children of God in Rom 9:8. One sort may seem or sound better, but both are children: childish: devilish: earthy. That's why God didn't say let us make children, but rather said let us make man. For diaper blessed differs from man blessed in Psalms 32:1,2 (Romans 4:7,8):

http://www.godshew.org/TwainShew.htm#Blesseds

So when Paul mentions "ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus" (Gal 3:26, notably written unto "bewitched" churches) it is not a compliment to be called children of God, since "ye" do err, "children" is not mankind, "Christ Jesus" is not Jesus Christ, the law is not of faith: Gal 3:12, and a mediator is not of one: Gal 3:20. So twice, as if for both kinds of children vs children, Paul mentions "be not children": 1Cor 14:20 and Eph 4:14. For in Matthew 8:12 it notes "children of the kingdom" get cast out; Which seems to apply to the better sort of children in Mt 13:38. So there is no advantage.

http://www.godshew.org/GodShew.htm#nomorechildren

The point seems to be that even when grace of law/grace it is still division and not yet peace, still part-iality and not yet perfect-ion. So Hebrews 6 says to first leave such law/grace "principles" (duality: doublemindedness) in order to go on unto perfection (pure grace), which is not the better one of twain, but one above the twain. So of three things in 1Cor 13: faith hope charity, we leave both faith and hope to go on unto charity, the greatest of great greater greatest, which is put on above forgiving one another in Col 3:12-15. For we only faith and hope for what we don't have: charity never fails.

It's like leaving both sorts of children for mankind, or like leaving both sorts of sevants to be free, or like leaving both sorts of believers to know; or like leaving plural God for God is one, if you can receive it. For when studied out, the God of the living (Mt 22:32; Mk 12:27; Lk 20:38) is not the living God mentioned in Mt 16:16; Rom 9:26; Heb 10:31. For it is both fearful and a fall to fall into the left/right hands of the living God, aka fall from higher than the heavens to heavens on high, as if from oneness to duality.

So Christ went higher than being the new high priest on high, for on high, where Jesus sat down, there's still "enemies"; But in higher mode there are no enemies... if you can receive it.

Such is to say plural God on high is not higher God is one; Which is like saying grace of law/grace is not yet pure grace, but only the better one of twain. Pure grace is not over against like grace is over against in law/grace mode. Eg: Jesus was over against the treasury when in the temple, and over against the temple when on Mount of Olives. So to be pure grace we have to stop being double minded, which is unstable both ways if plural ways: James 1:8.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen.
