Re: Are we flesh that dies or spirit?

Hi Shawn (Welcome),
Good (thought-provoking) quest-ion.

Grace (Life) unto you, and peace (rest),
from God our Father, and the Lord J-->C.

Here's what I can (allegory) share about this mystery. I no longer think in plural and contrary mode since doube minded = unstable both ways: Jam 1:8 of (plural) 'thoughts' such as life + death (aka grace + law, spirit + flesh, spirit + soul, etc) for it seems to result in a dead end (eg: "not suffered to continue by reason of death") if it's "mingled" drink, God's true "Christ" refused, twice, as if from both sides of cross. For even on right side (of left/right sides) general concesus is death (law) is just a part of life (grace). UG!

So, I now 'quarantine' any discussion, even any mention of both life + death (grace + law) or even life vs death (grace vs law), 'between opening and closing grace', as do Pauline Epistles, have this Pauline Format:
- Greeting (Grace & Peace)
- Discussion (Grace isn't f-law)
- Conclusion (Grace only: Amen)
For it seems to be the only safe way to even discuss such, or analyze such a 'deadly' virus as law: sin: death. Details: http://www.godshew.org/Paul.htm#Format

This (general concensus, even on the right side of the cross, of death being a part of life) is sow dog gone "contrary" to the "grace and truth (thereof)" which came by JC. Eg: In Mt 22:32; Mk 12:27; Lk 20:38 it's thrice noted ye do greatly err if still thinking God is a God of the dead (aka law = sin = death, or even grace + law = life + death); For "he is not God of the dead, but (God) of the living". When studied out, he's notably not God of Abraham, Isaac, Israel; but God of Abraham, Isaac, "Jacob". For the "God of Israel" (Law: both good + evil: both nice + nasty) also gets nasty (not merciful).

So I now say all talk of decease should cease to have peace. It was Moses + Elijah who talked of "decease" at transfiguration, where it was cloud-y, not clear-ity; fearful, not peaceful. So we should notice things about two Sons Jesus are cloud-y, and only one Son Christ is clear-ity: above cloud-y. Details: http://www.godshew.org/JesusVSChrist.html

Peace is neither left nor right of any sides war, but above such L/R "division". For Paul The Apostle says, in Rom 16:17, mark and avoid them causing division, which would include divisional Jesus in Luke 12:51 (Mt 25:31-33), dissimulating Peter in Acts 11 (Gal 2), even their plural (them/us) God in Heb 1. Details: http://www.godshew.org/Division.htm

For in Law mode (the f-law mode) all who despised Moses' law died, and notably "without mercy": Heb 10:28. OUCH! Heb 11 goes on to note all who didn't do the will of God (I will have mercy, and not sacrifice) died and received not the promise (eternal life), so then Heb 11 is a hall of shame, not fame; due to a blame game bringing shame on all who play it. Details: http://www.godshew.org/Hebrews12.htm

Eg: Singular "Christ-ian" (one) has no shame.
Plural "Christ-ians" (twain) still have shame.
For only plural divided people play blame games,
ending in a hall of shame, even if right of L/R.
Eg: Jesus got "numbered with the transgressors".
http://www.godshew.org/RevelatorySermons15.htm

Fame (no longer playing the blame game) is above making sides, taking a side to have war, since all sides wars have side effects to both sides, and the most common side effect of every sides war is death. Eg: even if playing the better of two parts: "their part" vs "your part" in 1Pet 4:14, it's still part-iality, not (yet) perfect-ion: 1Cor 13:10, still child-ish, not yet man kind: 13:11, even if on the right side. Details: http://www.godshew.org/TheirPartYourPart.htm

Paul The Apostle allegorically asks in 2Cor 6:14: what fellowship hath righteousness (grace) with unrighteousness (law)? What communion hath light (life) with darkness (death)? The obvious answer is none, since it would be "unequally yoked"; As if yoking them who "run" the human "race" bwd to get a corruptible crown: law: sin: death vs we who run the g-race fwd to obtain incorruptible grace, will have mercy (not sacrifice), multiplies peace (not division): 1Cor 9:24-27. So we all ought to notice: of BC/AD, AD--> only goes one way: for-ward (thru J-->C) to up-ward (thru C-->God-ward), and by laying aside every weight (law: sin: sacrifice: death) that can hind-er a g-race (life) runner doing the end "run" of the "race" along "with patience": Heb 12. Details: http://www.godshew.org/GraceRun.htm

Sorry if this is getting too l-o-n-g,
but you did ask, in order to receive;
And there are a lot of details involved,
in a good mystery having lots of twists.

So when ppl ask me how OLD are you? I now reply of Old/New, I am only New; For I have put off the Old (man) to put on the New (man), since they do not mingle except to make an oxy-moron, such as "Judas burst" when he put new wine in an old skin. Further... more, even when new of old/new, there's still this matter of news to sort out:
new & living way: a more excellent way: best
new & dead way: narrow of broad/narrow: better

Even when spiritual of natural/spiritual,
there is still this matter to sort out:
comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

So even when in better mode of good/better,
we should not yet let either old or new rest,
if only best of good better best = true rest;
For only greatest of three things never fails.
Details: http://www.godshew.org/Best.htm

In my Bible grace + law (life + death) should not be "mingled", since eternal life + surely die would be an oxy-moron such as truth + lie, having the dead end of a surely die lie (law) given by Moses in Gen 2:17 of Gen 2: 16 vs 17 (two "contrary" things mingled: every tree vs not every tree).
Gen 2:16 = grace: above ("freely" given)
Gen 2:17 = law: under (the err beneath)
Eg: http://www.godshew.org/Transgression.html

So then God's true Christ abolished the law (of plural and contrary commandments: Eph 2:15): the enmity: the surely die lie, to end the transgression (of the woman: the church) which numbers ppl in the hall of shame, not fame; Kinda like in 1Cor 13's faith hope charity, 2/3 = 0.666 to infinity of "nothing" yet, even if have and/or do seven faith and hope things noted in 1Cor 13:1-3, since we only faith + hope for what we don't yet have: charity (thinketh no evil) never faileth to pass the endurance test: holiness with sobriety.
Eg: http://www.godshew.org/Charity.htm

So notice even two kinds of agape in KJV:
- charity (agape): never faileth: 1Cor - Rev
- love (agape): can still wax cold: Mt 24:12
So I use KJV for allegoric study about life,
as perversions replace "charity" with "love".
(even the NKJV does this un-learned thing-y)
It's absurd to say love (agape) never fails,
for Mt 24:12 flat out says it can "wax cold".
Wax cold speaks of "decease", is not "peace".

So let's see what the word of God: grace: does.
In Heb 4:12 it 1st divides asunder soul/spirit.
In 1Cor 15:45 it's divide asunder Adam1/Adam2;
But such is not left/right, rather under/above.
Yet in Col 3:1-15, there's two kinds of "above".
So it's not yet true rest till epi of ano/epi;
which involves charity put on above forgiving.
So in Heb 4:12 it also divides joints/marrow,
and notably to get the "heart" of the matter.
The heart should be e-stablished "with grace",
neither "under the law" nor even "under grace";
for in under mode(s) there's still under-taker,
still jeopardy every hour, even if right of L/R.

So even if Luke had perfect under-standing,
his standing was still under, not yet above;
So even revelation in Luke still "Luke-warm".
So we go on, from plural Acts of the Apostles,
to the 22 epistles of Paul, Peter, John, Jude.
For neither plural Acts, nor plural Apostles,
in God is one, one above the twain of plural.
Eg: a mediator is not of one, but God is one.
Such is noted unto foolish bewitched churches.

L-o-n-g story short: bottom line conclusion:
Eternal life is not such life after death
witch many deceived by many still ass-u-me,
but is life void of death, and notably by
grace void of law, which is also
mercy void of sacrifice, which is then
peace void of confusion: 1Cor 14:33;
which is finally rest void of unrest,
which is comfort void of dis-comfort,
which is like ease void of dis-ease.
http://www.godshew.org/EternalLife.html

Anything less is a short fall,
even if fallen from pure grace
to right side of law vs grace,
is still division, not peace (rest),
still part-iality, not perfect-ion,
still a dead end, not eternal life.

So let's avoid this short "fall"
into plural hands of God on high,
by put on charity above forgiving,
by "leaving" the plural God on high,
(six things noted to leave in Heb 6)
to go on unto the higher God is one:
Grace has neither beginning nor end,
no begin of sorrows, nor end of life.

For no even-ing + mourn-ing on 7th day,
the day of God is one, not plural God days.
So neither time past nor last days, but day.
Neither peril-them nor peril-us, but no peril.

The grace of our Lord J-->C with you all. Amen.

Re: Are we flesh that dies or spirit?

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer. I am blessed to have found your site as it is a treasure to me. My hope is to countinue to grow in grace,unto God. So much understanding comes when one begins to see the bible as a allegory,rather than literal. What a wonderful mystery to be searched out. Blessings and peace, shawn

Re: Are we flesh that dies or spirit?

New-er Greet: Grace, Mercy, and Peace,
from God, our Father, and J-->C our Lord.

Indeed, allegoric (not literal): Galatians 4,
notably all "allegory", in both "covenants"; As
if "mystery" written aforetime for our learning.
So then, a mystery-us learning-game, God style;
A "shew" in which we learn & also part-icipate.

But every good mystery has lots of twists to it,
and usually right up to the very end of the shew.
So be aware the HOLY BIBLE containing Old and New
has 2 of everything, even 2 kinds of "immortality".
So then even two kinds of new, when new of old/new.

So put on the 3D glasses to help solve the mystery,
isn't just a twain shew of plural God & Son on high;
Not just "better hope" for us in "better testament",
but also what is best of 3 things: good better best.
So never let it rest at better mode, of good/better,
but leave both L/R sides to go on unto the true rest.

For the true 'rest of the story' also in-volves:
Be the smartest of (smart/smarter)--> smartest.
Be the greatest of (great/greater)--> greatest;
For only "greatest" of three things never fails.
Eg: http://www.godshew.org/GodShew.htm#Greatest

"Eternal life" seems to be an "also" called unto,
after 1st being called to "life eternal" on high.
So be aware things get reversed, if also cursed.
For along with love neighbour comes hate enemy;
Yet even love enemy is still enmity, not grace.
So go on unto pure grace has no enemies,
neither to hate nor to love or footstool.

As I tell readers, emailers, subscribers:
I cannot do all of your home-work for you;
For then how would you learn if I did that?
Yet I will "freely" share what I've learned;
But also hide some things in plain sight, as
to both reveal & conceal, to keep it mystery.
It's what Apostle Paul does: reveal & conceal.
Dialectic logic: is neither linear, nor circular.

Neither can I, nor will I, decide for you;
For that is also your job to do, not mine.
For grace does not force itself on anyone.
So as James 1 says: if lack wisdom, ask God;
For only God isn't a man: can't lie nor die.
So then, Paul The Apostle also says:
"let God be true, and every man a liar".
Every man would include mediator man CJ.

I look for-ward to hearing from you of ye/you,
to you being stablished, strengthend, settled,
after you made perfect by the God of all grace,
after ye suffer awhile in the CJ mode of CJ/JC.
It's kinda like after the after of before/after,
also kinda like above the above of under/above.
So remember there's 2 of everything to sort out,
even two kinds of after, and two kinds of above.

Put on 3D glasses, and think from the end,
in order to "endure unto the end" written,
and also to make it there "alive unto God":
where & when no law = no sin = no dead end,
there & then no death to you, all within you.

The grace of our Lord J-->C with you-->all. Amen.
