Are the so-called (new) laws undearneath the New Covenant (Testament) Prescriptive or Descriptive?

Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and The Lord Jesus Christ.

In nature, there seems to be at least two ways to distinctly characterize a 'law': namely, one is by 'description' (i.e., F=Ma) and another is by 'prescription'(i.e., Thou shalt not kill).

Within the New Covenant (Testament), which is which?

For example, 'The law of faith' as argued by Paul within the book of Romans, underneath the New Testament.

The (Non-Temporal) Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ be with You All. Amen.

Re: Are the so-called (new) laws undearneath the New Covenant (Testament) Prescriptive or Descriptiv

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Indeed, Paul (of Saul/Paul) first tried another law, and it made him feel "wretched": Romans 7; So he finally flushed all law as dung to gain Christ (is the end of the law): Philippians 3.

Of natural first/spiritual afterward: 1Cor 15,
which is to allegory say law first/grace after,
the New testament, of Old/New is about grace.
Of before/after, it is now the after part.

Things of God aren't naturally (law) discerned,
but spiritually (grace) discerned via the Spirit.

Concerning the law of faith (trusting in law),
Paul goes on in Romans 3:28 to say we conclude
a man is justified by faith without deeds of law.

In Galatians 3 Paul says the law is not of faith;
which is to allegory say law is not grace (faith).

The law is not eternal. Grace is eternal life.
The law is corruptible. Grace is incorruptible.

The (eternal) grace of our Lord JC with you all. Amen.

So he finally flushed all law as dung to gain Christ (is the end of the law): Philippians 3.

so you are saying that to Gain Christ is how to end the law in your life.

or was it destroyed when he came

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Kenny Perry,

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Quick Summary:

"Jesus" took their oxymoronic grace + law (mixture of contrary things) and made it grace or law: division (Matthew 12: 30-37)
- with (grace) or against (law)
- gather (grace) or scatter (law)
- forgiven (grace) or unforgiven (law)
- good fruit (grace) or corrupt (law)
- justified (grace) or condemned (law)
But even such new twain is not yet God (is one, not twain) and is not yet harmless. So ...

"Christ" took such grace or law and made it grace only, by abolishing the law (enmity) to be our peace (contrary things can't co-exist in peace) and to become harmless, which is higher than the heavens (above the twain on high).

Peace with God (is not the author of confusion, but of peace) is notably "through Jesus --> Christ", only in Christ (only in grace will have mercy, which multiplies peace); And "reconciling the world" to God is notably done "in Christ", not in Jesus. So edification (from below) begins with Jesus (division: unrest) and goes on to Christ (peace: rest). Yet because false Christs shall arise to seduce, and because reconciliation is to God (not Jesus nor Christ), there is also the matter of exhortation (from above), the also calling, to go up higher. Such is allegorized as "through Christ --> God-ward".

Be ye reconciled (through J --> C) --> to God;
As if through division --> peace --> to eternal.

Many bring up this one verse in Matthew 5:17 to promote the lie society would be chaotic without law; But the opposite is true: only when law is flushed as dung does society become harmless. For law is not only the corruptible seed and corruptible crown many strive to obtain, but law is corruption: enmity: unjust judge: inexcusable behaviour with consequences: destructive. So let us look at the allegory aspect of Matthew 5:17, which says: I (grace and truth) am not come to destroy (law), but to fulfill (grace and truth). For God did not send his Son to condemn (law) the world, but rather that through him (through Jesus --> Christ) the world might be saved (graced and truthed). For not only did grace come by JC, but truth also: grace and truth; Grace for salvation, truth for awareness. For God our Saviour will have all men saved and aware what from: law.

Yet there is the matter of the difference between a truth (such as truth about the law, that it's a ministration of condemnation and death) and the truth (has no mention of law at all). For a truth will aware you about the jeopardy of law, but only "the truth" will make you forever free. So "the truth" has no mention of law at all, as in the end already written:

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
