Abolition of Law is also Abolition of Sacrifice

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord JC.

Perhaps the "stumblingstone" laid in "Sion" (not Zion); And the "weight" to lose (lay aside) in order to do the end "run" (not walk) along "with patience" in Hebrews 12 is sacrifice (is "of the law": Heb 10).

God's will is "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice": Psalms 40:6; Psalms 51:16; Hosea 6:6; Matthew 9:13; Matthew 12:7; Hebrews 10: all; the same in the OT and the NT. So the "not" part of Matthew 9:13 is notably not then, not now, not ever; And do the will of God precedes receive the promise in Hebrews 10:36; And all those who didn't do it died and received not the promise in Hebrews 11: 13,39 (a hall of shame, not fame).

Abolition of "law" is also abolition of "sacrifice".
Sacrifice is "of the law", which God will not have.

Jesus tried it (mixing mercy and sacrifice), and the result was as "forsaken" as Psalms 22:1: Matthew 27:46; Mark 15:34. Jesus notably brought division (unrest), not peace (rest): Luke 12:51. So Hebrews 4:8 notes Jesus did not give them rest (peace). Rather Christ (of peace with God is notably through Jesus-->Christ, only in Christ is the end of the law) is our peace, who abolished the law: Ephesians 2. So reconciling the world to God is done "in Christ", and not in two Sons Jesus: 2Corinthians 5:19. Reconciling does not law impute sin. Law imputed sin, and cover up with sacrifice, is as alienating, not reconciling.

Furthermore, shedding of blood (sacrifice) does not purge all things, only "almost all" things; So sacrifice adherents should take heed that even better sacrifices do not purge the conscience of all sins. For we're told all sins shall be forgiven except blasphemy the Ghost (speaking against the law), which "never hath forgiveness", no, not in this world nor in the to come. So the only plausible way to be totally forgiven (the way God hath forgiven you for Christ's sake), which is to say totally purged of all sins, is via abolition of law (enmity), which is also abolition of sacrifice (which is "of the law").

Comments are welcome,
if intelligent and "led of the Spirit".
We are open to scrutiny, but not to mutiny.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
