Read you history. You are sadly incorrect!

Mr. Miles,
This is your quote as follows:

“John never did get converted. John and James (sons of thunder) caused so much trouble among the apostles it moved the ten to "indignation". Worse yet, they wanted to be left/right law/law on high, which is as broadmindead and narrowminddead. Later John, who returned to Jerusalem oft, stirred up the Jews against Rome to the point over a million Jews were killed at the fall of Jerusalem and several million were taken captive, again.”

You say John caused the jewish rebellion and was never converted. See who history writers say caused it. It was the murder of James the Just, half brother of Jesus. Please read on and correct your website article. This is only two of many historians of the time to say this: "This same Josephus records the tradition that this James was of so great sanctity and reputation among the people that the downfall of Jerusalem was believed to be on account of his death." see quote's at end.

Mr. Miles,
The people loved James the Just so much they rebelled when he was murdered in cold blood. Jesus apostles picked James the Just to rule. James and the apostles were great friends and loved each other. James the Just said "Faith without works is dead". Jesus left his own mother with John. Jesus called John his beloved. What you write is incorrect, misleading, and an out right lie. Please tell me what you have to say to the people you are lying too!

Epiphanius, Panarion, 78.14.1-6
78.14.1-6 James also wore a plate on his head. And once during a drought he lifted his hands to heaven and prayed, and at once heaven sent rain. He never wore woolen clothing. His knees grew hard as a camel's from his continued kneeling before the Lord out of excessive piety. 2. Thus they no longer called him by his name; his name was "The Just." He never washed in a (public) bath, did not partake in animal flesh, as I explained above, and did not wear sandals. And there is much else one could say about the man and his virtuous way of life.5. But James brother of the Lord and son of Joseph, died in Jerusalem, having lived twenty-four years, more or less, after the Savior's Ascension. He was ninety-six years old when he was struck on the head by a fuller with his club, flung from the pinnacle of the temple and cast down, he who had done no wrong 6. knelt and prayed for those who had thrown him down, saying: Forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. Thus even Simeon, his cousin, the son Clopas, who was standing at a distance, said, "Stop, why are you stoning the just one? Behold, he is uttering the most wonderful prayers for you." And thus he was martyred. . .

Jerome, On Famous Men, Chapter 2. James the Just
James, who is called the brother of the Lord, surnamed the Just, the son of Joseph by another wife, as some think, but, as appears to me, the son of Mary sister of the mother of our Lord of whom John makes mention in his book, after our Lord's passion at once ordained by the apostles bishop of Jerusalem, wrote a single epistle, which is reckoned among the seven Catholic Epistles and even this is claimed by some to have been published by some one else under his name, and gradually, as time went on, to have gained authority. Hegesippus who lived near the apostolic age, in the fifth book of his Commentaries, writing of James. says "After the apostles, James the brother of the Lord surnamed the Just was made head of the Church at Jerusalem. Many indeed are called James. This one was holy from his mother's womb. He drank neither wine nor strong drink, ate no flesh, never shaved or anointed himself with ointment or bathed. He alone had the privilege of entering the Holy of Holies, since indeed he did not use woolen vestments but linen and went alone into the temple and prayed in behalf of the people, insomuch that his knees were reputed to have acquired the hardness of camels' knees." He says also many other things, too numerous to mention. Josephus also in the 20th book of his Antiquities, and Clement in the 7th of his Outlines mention that on the death of Festus who reigned over Judea, Albinus was sent by Nero as his successor. Before he had reached his province, Ananias the high priest, the youthful son of Ananus of the priestly class taking advantage of the state of anarchy, assembled a council and publicly tried to force James to deny that Christ is the son of God. When he refused Ananius ordered him to be stoned. Cast down from a pinnacle of the temple, his legs broken, but still half alive, raising his hands to heaven he said, "Lord forgive them for they know not what they do." Then struck on the head by the club of a fuller such a club as fullers are accustomed to wring out garments with--he died. This same Josephus records the tradition that this James was of so great sanctity and reputation among the people that the downfall of Jerusalem was believed to be on account of his death.

Mr. Miles,
The people loved James the Just so much they rebelled when he was murdered in cold blood. Jesus apostles picked James the Just to rule. James and the apostle were great friends and loved each other. Re: Read you history. You are sadly incorrect!

Tim,

Grace(not law) unto you, and peace(not division),
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus-->Christ.

Two Enochs to sort out.
Two Johns to sort out.
Two James to sort out.

Jesus called his mom "woman" twice in John:
"Woman, what have I to do with thee": John 2:4
"Woman, behold thy son": John 19:26
Woman, being deceived, was "in the transgression": 1Timothy 2:14; in the law: Romans 4:15 where no law there no transgression. So then from the cross Jesus says to one of the seven biblical Marys: Woman, look what your law did, it cursed every one: Galatians 3.

Just kidding?
A kid: a goat, both in bible & dictionary
To kid (verb): to deceive

God doesn't have kids, nor kid anyone.
No man is justified by the law in the sight of God;
No, not even Jesus, of Nazareth, King of the Jews.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Good Job!

Mr. Miles,
I have to say I can not make a point against what you said. It's because what you said has nothing to do with any of the point.

Re: Read you history. You are sadly incorrect!

Tim,

Scientists often change their findings, or allow the government to change such, to get more gov't grants.

Medical stuff is even worse:
- coffee is bad, don't have any
- coffee is good, stimulates memory
- make it a double at Tim Hortons
Who you gonna "believe"? Far Better to "know":
It's not what goes in the mouth that defiles man,
but rather what comes out the mouth that defileth.

History is also often biased by the gov't of the time, and even gets changed later on by people. Not to mention it's the enemy that sows the tares, which speaks of false evidence planted, in order to deceive

What makes you think the history you quote is accurate, especially if it maybe never happened,
since it's all allegoric mystery for our learning.

Hollow decks? Matrix? Matrix Reloaded? The God Shew?

POINT: it's a "shew", an "allegory"-ic "mystery",
not to be taken literal, nor historical, at all.
So put down your history books and pick up a Bible.
The objective is to make it to the end alive unto God.
Alive unto God(Grace) speaks of dead unto laws(lies).

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Re: Re: Read you history. You are sadly incorrect!

You are absolutly correct, Except in this case I did not what to post a 15 page document with all the people who say pretty much the same thing. I beat they are not all wrong?
Peace.

Re: Read you history. You are sadly incorrect!

Tim,

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

So then Tim, what you're saying is I'm absoutely correct, except in your case. So I'm absoutely correct (grace), but not absolutely correct (law). Tim, that's like every tree (grace), but not every tree (law) in Genesis 2: 16 vs 17; When combined, it makes an oxy-moron: the mixture of contrary things.

Tim, contrary things cannot co-exist in peace. But Christ is our peace who abolished the law of commandments (Gen 2:17 of Gen 2: 16 vs 17) from his flesh: Eph 2. We are his flesh: Eph 5. So then Christ abolished one lousy tree law, the surely die lie, which essentially abolished all law, since all other laws were "added", and because of the transgression; But where no law there no transgression. And the woman, being deceived, was in the transgression; So the woman, being deceive, was in the law. And Jesus notably called his mom, Mary, "woman", and twice: John 2:4 and John 19:26. For it was the woman who first said a double "Amen, amen" to being both blessed (graced) and cursed (lawed) by her priest. So in calling his mom "woman" he was saying mom, look what your law did: it cursed every one: Gal 3. Selah.

Which (law/grace) things are an allegory, and a mystery to solve in time, so allegoric mystery, written aforetime for our learning, to learn what grace is, compared to what it's not: law.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Re: Re: Read you history. You are sadly incorrect!

Yes, yes, yes, a broken record. NO, you are incorrect about law because JESUS says so. Pleas answer the question << Jesus said "If you love me, keep my commandments.

Re: Read you history. You are sadly incorrect!

Tim,

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Tim, if ye wanna play "their part",
and have "their end", it's ok with me.
It won't change "the end" already written.
But will make what's evident even more "evident":
that no man is justified by law in sight of God.

http://www.godshew.org/TheirPartYourPart.htm

It would be peaceful for us to stop earing ye
condemn yerself, thinkng you do God a service,
as servant of law righteousness fails: Rom 9:31.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Re: Re: Read you history. You are sadly incorrect!

Are you a relative of Paul? You sure sound like him. Wait, how did history writers describe Paul? I think they said he was a madman. Should I post that quote?

Re: Read you history. You are sadly incorrect!

Tim,

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ye may be right,
but being right to make others wrong(?),
well, such is as deadly as being wrong.

I would not be right to make any wrong,
rather I would be right to make all right.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
