Mr. Miles (grace only) vs. Jesus (true law w/ grace)

Mr. Miles,
I'M adding a quote from you as follows:

So, to clarify what's "evident" from all the biblical evidence, Paul flat out states to foolish bewitched Galatians what is evident: "that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, [it is] evident" (Gal 3:11): for the just shall live by faith; And the law is not of faith.

Now lets see what Jesus says in Matt. 19:17-19 as follows:
"......But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments" He said to Him, "Which ones?" Jesus said, "You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, you shall not....."

Please explain to everyone how this is not God's law and why we do not need to keep it? God's law is to love Him and to love your neighbor as yourself. If you do not do these things Jesus says you will not go to heaven. Seems like Jesus has a different idea about law than what you say. Please tell us why and how people should believe you. Please explain if I have misunderstood what you have said, which may be the case.
Tim.

Re: Mr. Miles (grace only) vs. Jesus (true law w/ grace)

Tim,

Grace(not law) unto you, and peace(not division),
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus --> Christ.

Tim, the law: love one another isn't working.
It's gone ww, and it produced sorrows, as in Mt 24.
Imperfect love (law) always fails: divorces, soured relationships, wars among states & nations, etc.
Perfect love (charity: grace) never fails: 1Cor 13:8.
Perhaps you didn't notice the second in Mt 22:36-40 law law is "like unto the first", it's law. And in Rom 8:2 law law the first is sin and death. Selah.

Tim, entering into life, of life + death, is as being saved + destroyed in Jude 1:4, obviously a dead end. So then we're not just told to take heed, but to give more earnest heed to what's been said, all of it, not just a verse here and there to justify our theories.

Perhaps you didn't notice there are no writings of Jesus, rather only writings about Jesus; And of NT writings about Jesus, those of Paul comprise over 50% of NT, more than all six other NT writers combined.

Perhaps you didn't notice the young man in Mt 19 was quoted only 6 commandments, one of which was love one another, which is not among the ten commandments; And even though the young man had done all 6 mentioned, he said: "what lack I yet"... OBVIOUSLY denoting love one another didn't do it for him, make him feel whole, if he still had lack... perhaps due to law, which doesn't make whole, being limited, to not all, not every tree, every tree but one, a tree short of a forest, a cup short of an ocean, a frie short of a happy meal.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Re: Re: Mr. Miles (grace only) vs. Jesus (true law w/ grace)

"But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments"

You talk good, but say nothing. It's written above in plain black and white. It's not that much of a mystery what He is saying. He is direct and to the point. I guess Jesus was just "Kidding" when He said not one jot nor tittle will pass away of the "true" law of God and that the heavens and earth would pass away first. Well good friend, we are still here! As I said before, you mistake the law of the priest and scribes for God's true law. Try reading Matt 22:34-40. This states that there is a law and the most important part of it. I guess Jesus taught that just too pass time? Come on.

Re: Mr. Miles (grace only) vs. Jesus (true law w/ grace)

Tim,

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord JC.

Tim, you need to learn the difference between temporal life and eternal life,
temporal salvation and eternal salvation.
kingdom of heaven and kingdom of God
leaven and purity
Jesus and Christ
Israel and the world
partiality and no respect of persons

Jesus(made under law) is the Saviour of Israel
Christ(the end of law) is the Saviour of the world
God our Saviour will have all men saved '&' aware.

Eternal salvation is through Jesus-->Christ-->God
Allegorically e-life is through Good-->Better-->Best
To wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world
For of a truth there's no respect of persons with God
That God (of this/that Gods) is light void of darkness

I can't do your home work for you,
but I can share what I have learned,
and give you things to think about,
like "greatest" is neither great nor greater.
Moses' law was great. Jesus' law was greater.
But only greatest of three things never fails.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
