A story of the mouse and the little widow lady

Once there lived a little mouse in a old big farm house with a little old widow who was all alone. No one came to visit her now,and she could not get out. The phone was always silent,no cards or mail did she receive. The little mouse in her house you see was her only company. But they were friends and got
along fine, grew to love one another.

The little widow's birthday was coming soon, and
the little mouse wonder what he could for her.
Now I know he was just a little mouse, and you
might think, "oh what can he ever do for her?"
But you know friends though he was little he
had big connections, and knew what he would do.
He went to his friend the pack rat who also live nearby, and asked her what he could do for the
old widow. She replied; "Come in I will help you.
I have many things I can supply." And there the little mouse found a huge supply of things that
the pack rat had gathered over the years in her journeys here and there. She said,"take what you need,as much as you want..for that dear lady has helped me too." So the little mouse got a few things, and said thank you and went back home.
He wrapped them up and put them by her favorite chair, and waited for her to wake up.and come
sit down.

She came in slowly, and sat down, then looked down
and patted the mouse on his head and, said,"Good morning little one,how are you today? Then she noticed the presens near her chaior, and said,
Oh my what do we have here? "Did you get these
for me little one? And the mouse shook his head
as in repling yes.

So she opened the first present, and out came
a lovely long pink ribbon..for her snow white
hair that she always put up in a ponytail for
she said..."as he liked it"
Then she opened a second present out came a
card with a note inside that the little mouse
had his friend write for him...It read...
"I'm only a little mouse nothing great or
known but with all my heart I love you friend
for you have given me a home. For many would have cast me out thinking me no good, but you took me
in and let me stay in your home and heart.I wish
I could do more dear friend, but I do what I can
do.I give you all my love and life..I would laid
it down for you."
As she read this, and wiped the tears from her
eyes, she replied to the mouse who was now on
her lap..."Oh dear little mouse you have given
me so much, more than you realize! For I had no
one to be my company or comfort thru these
years, yet here you did abide. You made my life
less sorrowful, and helped me to love again.Oh
little one though you be small, you have brought
to me a huge blessing, for you gave to me your
all.And as the time went on,they aged togther,
and their bond of love was never broken.

So friends thought you may think you are small
and dont have much to offer,or think you cant
not help...think again...you be surprise...for
when you give no matter how big or small in
love from your heart...you give to Him!
