Re: KD184 and D711

KD 184 moved under its own power from yard to yard a few weeks ago. D 711 is mechanically perfect but we have not started the engine for many years.

711 has a further problem in that when we got her the body frames were pretty rotten and if we put in the windows we would have to do a total rebuild later so we decided to wait until we can do the rebuild before putting the windows back in. We have a complete set of windows.

Both will await our new 24 bus maintenance shed which is currently in progress.

Our current policy is to work our way up from those needing mainimum maintenance work to those needing maximum and 184 and 7121 are a long way from the minimum end of the list!

Our top priority is keeping all our Ulsterbus Tigers and Leopards on the button. With a fleet of eighty Tigers this is major, major job!
