I am most indebted to Jonathan Cadwallader for the following information.

You mention in your piece on your newly acquired Fleetlines,"As readers will be aware all Fleetlines are Gardner engined". In fact several operators specified Leyland engines when they became an option, Teeside and London Transport being amongst them.

So maybe we will have to re-open the acquisition line to get a Leyland engined example! Anyone know if any still exist?
