The Train Driver in Ecuador

Arrived back in Quito temporarily last night to read the messages.

WILL TRY AND ANSWER ANY OUTSTANDING SHORTLY.

Will have super photos when I get back as no card readers here.

We have had three steam engines working on different parts of the system and tomorrow I spend a few days on the Quito and San Lorenzo railway. We have got some absolutely fantastic photos of steam working up the Devils Nose from Sibambe to Riobamba which has to be one of the most fantastic rail trips in the world!

So far only five derailments plus seven landslides and 1 km per hour for seven hours due to the wrong sort of grass on the track!
