Through our nominated charity, Vegfam, Veggies have been '‘Feeding the hungry without exploiting animals'’ since our beginnings in 1984.

Vegfam are in touch with a number of organisations, inc Concern Worldwide, to provide vegan food in the areas affected by the recent earthquake in South Asia.

Earlier donations for the Tsunami Appeal have mainly been distributed. See Samosas for Social Change and Vegfam's Indian Ocean Earthquake Appeal. Meanwhile £2,100 of corn/soya blend (non-GM), oil & sugar have also recently been provided in Niger.

Gift Aid declarations can be made over the phone to Vegfam , so that larger personal donations can benefit from the gift-aid scheme and squeeze some blood back out of the government.
