Philly Runners -- Welcome

Welcome to our Philly Runners forum. This message board is provided for running-related discussion in the Philadelphia area and around the world. You are welcome to start your own topics and reply to others.
You don't need to post only running-related items, but commercial interests don't have a business being on here (unless you're trying to sell your used treadmill, for example). We don't have "rules" but will try to use our best good-faith judgment.

Please do not list the full name of anybody other than yourself. Please use first names only or first name plus first letter of last name. Messages that include full names will be deleted.

When starting a topic for an event with a specific date, please list the date of the event in the subject line. For example: "Media 5 Miler Friday June 17".

Some posts will be deleted after a while due to space limitations. Have fun, and please be sure to visit our main website for more information on our club and more running-related information.

Morgan Log House Log Jog, Virtual 5K Run/Walk, Sept 1-30, 2020

The historic Morgan Log House in Lansdale, PA, is hosting their first annual Morgan Log House Log Jog, a virtual 5K Run/Walk that will occur between Sept 1-30, 2020.

Introducing the Morgan Log House Virtual Log Jog (or run or walk or meander or whatever you'd like).

Walk yourself or your furry friend. Run off your stress. Stroll through a favorite historic district and admire the architecture. Participate from your treadmill. Whatever you'd like! Since the Log Jog is virtual Log Jog, after you sign up, you have almost a month to log 5k (that's 3.1 miles). Upon completion, log your time or just record your finish on our software.

Whether you're walking a trail or around the block, share your favorite selfies or views on social with #mlhlogjog. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram and we'll share some favorites!

Participants can sign up for awarded or non-awarded levels ($35 or $25). Your entry fee benefits the Morgan Log House, a non-profit history museum located in Lansdale, PA. Throughout the year, we bring eighteenth century history to life through tours, workshops, and programs in the beautifully restored 1774 Morgan Log House. You can learn more about the Morgan Log House here:
