Welcome to our Philly Runners forum. This message board is provided for running-related discussion in the Philadelphia area and around the world. You are welcome to start your own topics and reply to others.
 
You don't need to post only running-related items, but commercial interests don't have a business being on here (unless you're trying to sell your used treadmill, for example). We don't have "rules" but will try to use our best good-faith judgment. 

Please do not list the full name of anybody other than yourself. Please use first names only or first name plus first letter of last name. Messages that include full names will be deleted. 

When starting a topic for an event with a specific date, please list the date of the event in the subject line. For example: "Media 5 Miler Friday June 17".

Some posts will be deleted after a while due to space limitations. Have fun, and please be sure to visit our main website for more information on our club and more running-related information.

Mayor's Cup Speed Week: Run Fast! Post Your Results!

Hi all!

Our Mayor's Cup team has been killin' it so far with outstanding results on distance week, masterful artistry during artweek, and successful scavenger hunt completion despite a wonky clues list. Go team! Now we're on speed week and it's a race to the finish this Friday at 11:59 p.m.

For all of you participating in Mayor's Cup, don't forget to post your results to the Mayor's Cup page!

In case you missed it, here's how to submit your time:

1. Navigate to "Submit Week 4 Times" from the menu (or follow this link). There are actually buttons that say "Log Activities" or "Submit Virtual Results" ALL OVER the site and on your RunSignup profile. Any one of these buttons will take you to the right place

2. Search for yourself by name or by email address and date of birth

3. You'll show up twice in the seach. This is fine - only one of you will have a button to Submit Results. Click the one next to Week 4: All Distances with the Submit Virtual Results Link.

A few reminders/clarifications you might be pondering:
1. Can I run my race twice if I don't like my first time? Yes! The last time you submit to Mayor's Cup will be the one used.
2. Where to run? Remember, flat courses are faster, so choose your course wisely...
3. You can't run the 5 mile and count the 5k you run on the way to finishing it as another race. Mayor's Cup counts that as cheating. Each distance must be run separately.
