Prior to pre-emptive war in Iraq, POTUS: G.W. Bush was heard saying: there will be sacrifice(slaughter), in resonse to 9/11 thing he perhaps also pre-empted.

A little while later, from the deck of a USA aircraft carrier, he said: mission accomplished! Such begs the question: what mission? Does he also have shares in the company that manufactures body bags?

Since then, there has been much sacrifice(slaughter), daily, on both sides of a stupid war founded on lies.
