when do you beath?

Ok I just picked up my first practice chanter and I have alrady got to the part when I am on my first song at what point do I take a breath during the song when do I take one and where the song is scots wha ha'e thanks e-mail me the responce thanks Jacob

The key is to change where you breathe every time. Don't always breathe in the same spot and remember that when you take a breath to keep playing the tune in your head and moving your fingers even though you are not blowing. You could try circular breathing but that can be very difficult. I would just stick to changing up the spots you breathe at and never stop moving your fingers.
