Hello all - Over the years I have heard many family stories about an expedition they once took to Virginia to search for the treasure. The group that went was Stephen (my dad), Adam (Stephen's brother and my uncle), Steve (Stephen and Adam's dad) and John ( Steve's uncle).

John was a former OSS officer who worked in Operation Paperclip and who possessed one of the ciphers. They actually travelled to Virginia in '92 to take their shot at finding the treasure. They went up and stayed in a crappy hotel for a night and got dressed all in black one night to look for the treasure. Needless to say, they got chased off the property and didnt find the treasure. But the cipher is still in the possession in my family. Have their been any developments in the search in the past 20 years?
