I am looking for my ancestors who came from Witheridge. My great Grandfather was born there and went to live in Exeter as a blacksmith. His father was a stone mason. The family name was Vaughan, James and John. Another John Vaughan was born there in 1770and who later was an agricultural labourer. At this point I have come to a full stop. Are there any vaughans left in the village who may be relatives of the family? |
