I have been researching the military career of Sidney Selley who was killed in France on 8 May 1917. He was serving with the 8th Bn, Devonshire Regioment. He was the younger brother of Francis who is mentioned on your 1914-1918 page and in 1901 the family had a butchers shop at 50 South Street.
Can anybody provide any further information regarding this family and the shop? |
