Thanks very much for your note - it makes interesting reading! I have a marriage certificate from 1884 for William Frost, and on this is mentioned his father being Charles Frost and mother Harriet Frost (nee Martin). William was born in 1848, so he would have been 23 in 1871 and probably would have left home by then. He went to London and founded W Frost & Sons Ltd, a grocers in Portobello Rd. |
