Hi David,
Thank you very much for the information, it does help a lot. All I have to do now is find out where Grace was at the time of the 1841 census. She may have already moved to Aveton Gifford at this time, but she is not coming up on the census anywhere in the country at the moment, unless her name is spelt differently?? The other option is that as she was in the employment of the rector of Aveton Gifford in 1851, then she may have moved with him from another parish, I will have to try and look into this.
Anyway, thanks once again, you have been a great help.
