Mt. Savage Genealogy Informtation

We, at the Mt. Savage Historical Society, are in the process of creating a Genealogy/Archive Center.
This is part of our effort to preserve the colorful
history of our town and our area.
We would love for you to share your family
genealogy, stories and history. Any information
that you have will help us put the pieces of this
huge puzzle together.
We are also looking for old pictures of our town,
the residents and the industries that once made
Mt. Savage a booming place to live and work.
We don't need your orginals....a copy of your
old photo's will be fine. If you are unable to
get copies made, let one of us know and we will
gladly do that for you.
Please help us as we attempt to restore
and preserve the history of our town for
generations to come.
Send all information to :
The Mt. Savage Historical Soceity
PO Box 401
Mt. Savage, MD 21545

Re: Mt. Savage Genealogy Informtation

I have several genealogies of Mt. Savage families I have put together. However they are not laid out on the family chart forms.

Re: Mt. Savage Genealogy Informtation

Hi Jeff,
Your Family Trees do not have to be on the
charts. We just supply them for people who may
not have done any family research at all. The
charts make it easier for them to list parents,
grandparents...etc.
We would love to have your information in any
form that you have it.
You can mail it to:
The Mt. Savage Historical Society
PO Box 401
Mt. Savage, MD 21545
Thank you Jeff for your interest. Feel free to
contact me with any questions.
Becky

Re: Mt. Savage Genealogy Informtation

I will burn them to a CD and send them. They are in book form and several are quite large consisting of over 600 pages. I will be back in Mt. Savage over the Christmas Holidays
