Hodaka Days Service School topics
The following items have been suggested at various times as topics for the Hodaka Days Service School (Friday afternoon). But I'd like to get some feedback from attendees regarding what they'd like discussed. If you have a topic you'd like to see covered, please include it and respond with your TOP 3 choices OK? Hopefully we can cover topics are of real/current interest to Hodaka fans - your suggestions would be appreciated. - Oil injection service and adjustment - Removing oil injection - Model 03, 175 and 250 fork leg seal replacement (low priority? Complete description sheet is available online – and it's not likely we'll have a leg to take apart/display) - Clutch disassembly/reassembly - Principles of Mikuni carburetor operation (how things work) - Principles of operation – Hodaka transmission and shifter mechanism - Principles of operation – Magneto/points ignition systems - Crankcase sealing – demo lapping sealing surfaces & the use of silicone sealant (proper amount) - Wheel truing review (brief) Ed Keep the rubber side down! |
