New Math
I never really liked the 10% estimate of total hits for my reader base, so over the past week I futzed around with different formulas until I arrived at a justifiable increase to 15% to measure my fanbase. After all, 15% of my book chapters comes to 3, and it's reasonable to assume that anyone who reads at least 3 chapters will probably finish the book, so I'm using the 15% number from now on. My current count stands at 17,522. 15% of that is 2628, rounded to 2600. That number covers those who only picked up one chapter to those who have at least half the book. Cool. |
