Progress...
An update... As of today, "Banjo Strings" has amassed 5000 hits (passed 5300 this morning) and I estimate a current reader base of between 350 - 400. Cool  I have a second promo for the book on my podpage (I just sent it and my press release to Adam Curry's DSC) and last week I sent book review inquiries to a number of online mags to see if I get any nibbles. I whipped up a little plugger to hand out and leave in local flyer-friendly spots (record stores, poetry venues, grocery store bulletin boards, the usual), but I'm having printer problems, so I'm cranking out small quantities so far. Hey, I was in Las Vegas last weekend (this week's show, 107, being the Vegas band showcase), so I managed to hand out a few there. Sweet... |
