Whether it be a new traveling or permanent exhibit, summer camps and other education programs including scout merit badge classes, new items in the nature store, spotting animals and bird species along a trail or a party rental, things are always changing including the seasons which consistently offer different views of the landscape and animals throughout the wildlife sanctuary. Search the site, call or visit to discover all the Heard has to offer. Current and upcoming featured exhibits include Animals of the World (Live Animal Presentations Saturdays, 11 AM Beginning June 21), Rattlesnakes to Rattlers: Live Texas Snakes (June 16-August 31), Native Texas Butterflies (July 14 – September 28th), and a Beehive Exhibit. |
